Stephen Ciucci, M.S., LPC
Counselor
What do I do at Counseling & Psychological Services?
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, depression, porn addiction, gambling addiction and spiritual struggles/growth. I received my master’s degree in professional counseling in 2001 from Central Connecticut State University. I have been working in the mental health field since 1991 and in private practice providing Christian Counseling since 2011.
What’s it like to work with me?
First and foremost, my focus is on the love and grace God has towards you. I try to provide a warm, caring, and safe environment with an emphasis on building trust. I utilize CBT skills coupled with biblical principles in addressing whatever challenges you are facing. It’s my privilege in partnering with you to better understand your identity in Christ and His divine purpose for your life. I’ll explore with you any faulty thinking patterns or presumptions that are contrary to the Truth of Scripture. Through Christ we can be transformed and our minds renewed so that we can clearly seek God’s Will for your life. I will work with you in taking practical steps to grow in these areas.
What do I do outside of Counseling & Psychological Services?
Outside of CAPS, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love God’s creation, whether it’s going for a hike in nature or a nice cool refreshing swim on a hot summer day, or enjoying some delicious meal. I also enjoy going to church and studying God’s Word.
