2024-25 Academic Calendar
Mindfulness Workshop
This workshop will allow participants to practically exercise mindfulness techniques. Each week a counselor will lead the group through the application and implementation of different mindfulness practices. Come each week or pop-in a few times throughout the semester, each workshop is a standalone experience.
- Day/Time: Wednesdays, 1-2 p.m., starting February 5
Location: DeMoss Hall, Room 3114H (group room)
Email CAPS@liberty.edu for more information.
Motivational Enhancement Workshop
This workshop is based on motivational psychology and uses techniques and practices to help each individual evaluate their readiness for change. A motivational enhancement group is not counseling or treatment to cure a disorder or a step-by-step training program. Rather, it is designed to utilize motivational strategies to help recognize and engage your own resources toward change, whatever that change looks like.
