Intake Counselor

What do I do at Counseling & Psychological Services?

I am an Intake Counselor here at CAPS. I received my B.S. in Psychology from LU along with my M.A. in Human Services-Marriage and Family. Prior to working at CAPS, I worked as an investigator for child protective services. I have also worked with victims of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and children in foster care. 

What is it like to work with me?

I love helping students feel welcome, heard, and cared for. I especially enjoy connecting students with resources to equip them on their journey toward healing. 

What do I do outside of Counseling & Psychological Services?

Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my family, cooking up something yummy in my kitchen, or enjoying a walk outside.
