What do I do at CAPS? 

Hey, I’m Dominique, an intern at CAPS. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Florida International University and am currently pursuing my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. At CAPS, I conduct intake interviews with students and have the privilege of working with clients who are on the primary path for counseling.

What is it like to work with me?

My goal is to create a safe and comfortable environment where clients can freely express their thoughts and feelings and feel valued and understood. I aim to support my clients as they navigate through the seasons of life while encouraging them to work toward their goals.

What do I do outside of CAPS?

Outside of CAPS and my responsibilities as a full-time student, I enjoy spending time in nature and staying active. I also enjoy traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends.
