Abigail Clark, B.S.

Practicum/Internship Student

What do I do at CAPS?

My name is Abigail Clark, and I am a graduate student at Liberty University, currently pursuing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a counseling intern at CAPS, I conduct intake sessions and have the opportunity to walk alongside students on their counseling journey. I’m grateful to be part of the CAPS team, and I’m passionate about creating a supportive space where students feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

What is it like to work with me?

I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where my clients feel safe, heard, and valued. My goal is to help you express yourself freely and authentically, empowering you to navigate challenges and make meaningful changes in your life. I approach counseling with empathy, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit, tailoring sessions to meet your unique needs and goals. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or growth, I'm here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

What do I do outside of CAPS?

Outside of CAPS and graduate school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going on walks or hikes, and curling up with a good book. I also love quiet, cozy moments at home with my cat Maxine, who’s my favorite little companion.
